At Budokan Academy, we teach you practical courses where you will be using hands, leg, Elbows and Knees to defend against any attack. No prior experience or training required for our beginner course.

What we do

Do you want to learn practical and useful self-defence techniques quickly? The good news is that you don’t need to be superfit to learn our courses. It’s not all about fighting; it’s all about learning techniques and implementing it when needed.

Syed has more than 30 years of training Karate. However, these courses are designed for people who don’t know a thing about Karate. His regular teaching includes self-defence drills. So he knows what he is teaching when it comes to self-defence and also works well with different age groups.

Budokan Academy self-defence courses are simple and suitable for all ages 10 years and above. No prior experience is required to start our course.

Our course is for 4 weeks spread weekly and trained on Friday evenings. After the completion, of the course, you’ll receive a completion certificate.

Each session is filled with fun, real training of techniques with partners in a safe environment.
